Fully understanding the software your hardware runs, modifying it to fit your needs, and contributing back — these should be rights, not privileges.

From BSP source code and drivers to developer tools and sample applications, all software components of Obsidian are publicly available. The Linux BSP, drivers, and developer tools are distributed under open-source licenses. Build with long-term software independence — no vendor lock-in.

Note The MMA (Matrix Multiplication Accelerator) on the TI AM67A processor operates exclusively with software provided by Texas Instruments per their licensing terms. All other software layers are publicly available under open-source licenses.
